Okayy.. Today I shall blog about... Success! =)

Well, I went for the AIESEC induction earlier today. And there's a session where they asked us to think about our future and dreams. So I did.

And yeah, it made me realize how fortunate I am, not just the chance to go for higher education, but also the things I had, I get, having and getting. Which I really felt I'm so lucky and fortunate. I have a car at a very young age, I have my expenses covered up, petrol, almost everything.

My dad once said, the generation we have now is just so lucky, compared to those days during his time. He only had a bicycle as the mode of transport, whereas I already have a car right now. Having a car is so convinient. But the cost of having one, petrol, maintanence everything, which the sum is alot! Yeah, I know all these.

Hmm, I brought my car over here for my convinient sake, where actually I could just go on foot to move about in uni like others do. But my parents allowed and agreed to let me bring my car over here after my first week. Well, you can say I'm spoilt, I'll admit. I used to drive around to lectures at the beginning.

However, started from early this week, I realize that I don't have to get into the car every single day to go for classes. Most of my classes are at the new academic building which, I wouldn't say far from where I'm staying. And so, I've decided to start walking to class. Except on Monday and for sports because it's really really far from my place. That I have no choice but to drive.

Now each time I turn on the car engine, ignite it, I can feel the amount of fuel burnt. Fuel = $$$. And those $ are coming from my parents pocket. They worked for it, but I'm just using it just like that. That's why I've decided to cut down my cost of living here.

Next thing is, although I still get my pocket money from my parents, I'm still keeping record of my expenses over here. It may not actually be necessary, but I just don't want to spend too much over here. I'll try to cut as much as I can. Studying here as a private student, parents already paying a whole sum of money to support my education, I don't want them to spend another sum of money on my living expenses here. I'll do what it takes to cut down the cost.

My dad also once said about my sister that are just spoilt and me no difference either. He said that we don't know how hard life is. We do not know that earnings are really hard to earn. We just know how to spend, that's it. One example is, my sis works for interest more than money, although her pay is less but she doesn't complain. According to my dad, he said that's because she doesn't have to worry about her expenses. She doesn't need to earn so much thinking that she already has everything at home, dinner ready each time she step foot into home, having a car that my parents bought for her. That's what made her feel money isn't important for her.

As for me, he said that although I've worked for few months after STPM before starting my uni. But, those earnings are for my own expenses. Transport to work was by car, and petrol was paid by parents. Hanging around by drving out around, I never think about the petrol or expenses that I'm using. All I think is just to spend and have fun without thinking bout expenses. Petrol empty, go pump using credit card. Money isn't important as I already have everything. Things like that.

Honestly, heard him saying that does made an impact. I admit I don't think about all this before. I do admit that I'm spoilt in a way. But I've told myself, never misused all this. They gave me all these are for my convinience. Because they love me and want me to have an easy life. I know my dad did not have a life that we have now during his time. But he changed, and gave us an easy life.

We may not be rich, just an average. My dad has been working really hard, running his own business. The path that he took before til today, it's not an easy job. Never is. That, I really salute him. He build this company up with his own blood, he runs almost everything his own, his paper work etc. Just recently he manage to get an office and a clerk to do his paper work, which reduced his workload, but yet, he's still working so hard.

Hahah, sorry for that such long story. Here's come the important part. =).

After thinking bout all these, I've told myself. I must succeed, be a successful person. I don't want to disappoint my parents, for everything they'd done for me. Supporting me in my education, giving me everything I need just for my convenient sake. I will not let my parents down. I'll prove them, that everything they'd done for me, is worth doing so.. I really appreciate everything they'd done for me, and now as their son which is still going through education life, my role is to succeed in my education, excel in it and get a good career. I may not be the best like my sisters, but they do not compare. They know where I stand, they don't push too much on me, but I know, in their heart, they really want to see their boy as a successful person.

4 years down the road, I'll be graduating like both my sis already did.

I'll achieve my goal.. Reaching for it..

As a student and most importantly a son, I'll do my part.

Thank you daddy and mommy for everything, your support. I really do appreciate it.

Haha, okayy. I'm kinda into blogging right now. So yea, let's just start off with some tour around my campus. =)

This is the biggest place in the uni. It's called the Chancellor Complex. A really big building. Which consists of the chancellor hall which capacity of 2500 (If I remember correctly) and the other side is the library.. Really big library and the design is really unique! Awesome.. =).

On the top is the library which I'm talking about. Really cold place. Nice to study and sleep on the sofa. Slept there several times. heehe.

Moving on next...

These are the new academic buildings where all of the degree and post-grad's lectures, tutorials and lab are held.
It looks like a platform though. haha.

This building is called Pocket D. Downstairs there's cafe, and office. Upstairs are the lecture halls. Looks kinda like a stadium. One bad thing bout the place in the hall is that, there's bad phone coverage. Good for lecturers but not us. Cause we'll get so bored!! hahaha! **shshhh**

Ohh, not forgetting. You see there's a lot beside the stairs there, that's where I did my blood donation. haha. It's an empty space for events..

There goes my blood..... Ribena.. haha!

Next off.. My room! =)

The first photo was my first room where I stayed there for a week! It's called Village 6 (V6)
Followed by where I'm currently staying in now. V4. So much better. =). Bottom is the view from my new place. But that's not from my block though. haha.

Sorry bout the mess. Just moved in and excited to get a photo of it. hahah!

There's a total of 6 "Villages" namely V1-6. V3-V5 are the new ones which is apartment type. V1,V2 & V6 are dorm. Basically my uni here previously was under USM and V1,V2 & V6 are built by them. When UTP took over the place, they built V3-V5 which is a whole new different concept, apartment. V5 is the newest but their floors and cement. That's why I choosed V4. =).
Actually I sorta like cut queue. Supposingly V6 are for the new intake mainly foundation students. After V6 they'll move to either V1 or V2 first before moving up to V3/4/5. But I requested and V4 right away after my first week and fortunately I got the room here! =D

p.s : Sorry bout the mess. Just moved in and excited to get a photo of it. hahah!

So yeah, basically that's all bout it. I didn't really get much photos around. Maybe will update it again. haha.

Love someone by their heart.. Not by their background, looks, finance, etc.. When you meet someone, first to look at is their personality. People with good personalities deserved to be friends with. Fall for someone with their personality and a good heart. Don't look where they come from, their family background, finance etc...

One may have everything, cars, money, looks, but inside, they have a bad heart.. All they want to do is just show-off their fortunate.. Next thing you know, you'll be dumped..

One may not have everything but a good heart, a heart that can give you sincerity, care, love, honest, etc... That... is what most important..

If a person fall for you due to your background, sadly to say that, before you realize, the next thing you'll get dumped if they do not need you anymore.. Like for now they can be nice, because wanting all the help that you have.. You feel happy, fall for that person, love and love.. Everything went on stable.. But the next thing you know, once they do not need you, good bye... And you'll left behind, wondering what went wrong, why, etc...

Think twice.. Don't be silly..

Be patience. Don't rush to find your life partner.. Get the right chemistry between two-parties.. I believe there is someone out there that will suits you..

Hmmm, just somehow and somewhat, I have no idea what is in my head right now. It feels like having some sort of a mixed feeling. I feel tired, and it's getting late now but yet I dont feel like sleeping. I doubt it's a good feeling. Sigh..

So, uni life has started. Been mixing with people ranging from Foundation to Under-Grad and also Post-Grad. I stand in between. Haha. Well, since I went through orientation week with the foundation students, I tend to be the "older" ones there, I mean among the group of friends I'm with. So yeah, advice here and there. hahaha. Heard some stories from them earlier today, all I can say is just, kids these days.. haha

Just a word of advice to you people out there, especially guys.. Don't rush to find a partner in your life. If that person tends to be yours, he/she will be yours eventually. Don't keep looking for one as faith will bring you both together. Be patience, as the sayings goes, love is patience.. Eventually you will have the feel for someone and hopefully it's right and it will stay there for long. Be serious when you're in one. Relationship isn't something that should be played or fooled around. An end of a relationship could really hurt alot! So, please be serious and choose wisely for your life partner. He/she should be the one suits you and let fate bring you both together, not you looking for one and create a relationship. It doesn't work that way.

If you do something towards that person, he/she may feel touched for only sometime, but the feel would not last long. So just let things run by it's own. Just follow the flow. I believe He would help us plan our future in all ways..

And also, those people with a good background, family background, finance and all.. Beware of it. Don't get tricked and fall for someone that only see you because of all these and not your own personality.. Cause that person may just see your background and wants to be part of it to enjoy. If that so, never fall for it. Or else, at the end of the day, you'll regret..

Open your eyes, think wisely and make the right decision. I'm sure you know what do I meant.

Conclusion : Don't rush, be patience, think twice and open your eyes. He/she is somewhere out there and yet to be found. When the time is right, it'll appear somehow.

Sometimes, physically I'm in that class, but I don't really think I belongs to that class.

I don't know why, I just can't blend inside.. Maybe it's me that made this thing happen. I tried but it just doesn't seem to workout.

No man is an island.. Yes, I agree with this.. But some times I just felt that I'm alone in class.. I felt that my frequency and them are different.. I only got a close friend in my class.. that's cuz I know him since loong time ago, Form 1.. Yet, some times I don't think we were close than before already..

I'll try.. Few more months to go. I dont wanna waste my F6 life like that.. I'll cherish and enjoy every moment of it..

Gahh, I'm bored of staying home.. That's one thing that I don't like bout holidays...

Short holidays is good to have a break.. But not too long.. I prefer to go school and hang around rather than sitting home rotting.. However, going to school means gotta study which I don't quite want to do. So yeap..

Well, if there's plans for holidays, outing or trips with friends then it's okay. But so far got no plans yet.. sighh.. Been staying home for days and I can't really stand it anymore.. Trying to seek opportunity to go out.. hahaha.

It has been 2 looong days since Tuesday.. haih..

Gotta start studying... yea yea, I'm starting to be a nerd.. Start earlier before it's too late.. =)

My class had a trip to Genting but I didn't follow them, I'm not telling why here cause it's sensitive. I gotta start planning some activities for the Rovers...

I wanna go Sunway to ice-skate! Anyone?

Haven't been using my camera for awhile. The latest album I took was the trip to Davis' place.

Watched 2012 on last day of school for this year. It was good.. You guys should watch it. Though some parts are bit fake, but the graphics and effects are awesome.. It looked real instead of computer generated image..

Went to Malacca yesterday. Stayed over at cousin's place while having a movie marathon, well kinda like a marathon. Watched a movie called Saw.. there's many parts but I only watched a lil bit of Saw 1, whole of Saw 2 and 3.. and I came to know that there's up to Saw 7...

That movie is really bloody, full of blood and disgusting stuffs.. I can imagine the pain while watching it.. But yet it's quite interesting though.. hahaha. If you guys like Thirller movie and bloods, this movie suits you.. (:

A quick note..

It was an experienced. First time went climbing, hiking.. It's different than caving. 15 bunch of teenagers invaded Bukit Tabur / Klang Gate / etc... It was quite tough and took longer than expected.

Photos are up on Facebook and Hau Yeen's blog (part 1, 2 and 3) [thx Hau Yeen!]. I brought camera but didn't take it out cause there's 2 cameras already, so I can just grab it from them. (:

The weather was kinda on our side.. It rained early in the morning and our plan was almost canceled. Then later it stopped and we decided to proceed with the usual plan.. On our way down hill, it drizzled a little but stopped awhile after that.. Minutes after we got out from the jungle, it rained cats and dogs. Really glad it rained after we got out and not when we were inside.

It took us about 4hrs to complete the whole journey, up and down. I would say, coming down is harder than going up. haha.

I challenged myself that day.. doing things I never done before but it was all good. (:

The title said it, very quick update so this post will be short.

18th July 2009 (Saturday)
Morning - Rakan Muda. Some sort of co-curriculum activity.
They had marching competition and also martial arts. I went to sch to discuss the performance with my class which was a total failure..
Anyway, Kendo won first prize under martial arts category. Well done. =).

Night - ESG Campfire 2009.
Had a great time that night. I'm joining scouts, Rovers this year. haha. Before the campfire, went for dinner at KLCC @ Little Penang Cafe..

25th July 2009 (Saturday)
Went to school to practice the performance again (which was bit failure but oh well..). While they were discussing, I asked Foong Yi out and she came! The rest didn't know she was coming. So I sort of gave them a surprise. Then we chit chatted awhile in class and head to Pavilion..
Decided to go for a movie, but the seats weren't good. So we then head for lunch at Pasta Mania (after deciding for ages...). Talked and talked, jokes, craps, and all...
We had a great time.. It has been a long time since I saw Foong Yi and we met up yesterday. =). We'll meet up again soon before you leave. I'll arrange for it. =).
*there isn't any photo for this day cause I got no camera. =(*

Anyway, OB night is coming.. Class performance is...... I got no comments.. Hope everything goes well.

Lotsa ppl getting sick these days which isn't a good thing. It's suspected that there's H1N1 case in my school. But it's not confirmed. So yea.. Pray hard ppl.

I have no idea what to blog out.

Was talking to Taryn last night and well, she kinda open my eyes for me.
I'm not sure bout some things, questions on my mind aren't answered yet.
Maybe the answer is clear and right in front of me, but I'm just not sure bout it.

Am thinking hard, hopefully I get to do the right thing.
As Taryn said, don't rush, one step at a time. =).
I tried to think last night, but there's no result yet.

I'm sort of on a split road, don't know which to go, which reminds me on the poem "Road Not Taken".

Just when I have the thought, then came a doubt sign. *haih*.

On the other note, school hols is okay so far. Went out for 3 days.

Does it happen to you before?

You feel like the time is going backwards where there was something that you experienced, and you are going to experience it again?

It may be something good or bad. If it's good then everything's fine.
However, if it's bad, then it's soo NOT! It'll be like some phobia or something.
You might be afraid when this going to happen, and you don't want to experience it again.

Well, it is happening to me now.. I just hope everything will be fine.

I'm a year older, wiser and matured. I shall face it with a grown up way, not like a child. Face the challenge! Have the courage and not give up!

Life is full of challenges. Stand up and fight for it, don't give up.
Live life to the fullest. Life is like a candle, short and limited. So enjoy while you still can.
Be patience when you want to do something. Don't rush everything, some things you must have patience to get it.

My blog is officially dead! This will be so random! lol.

I have to set my goals right up, and must achieve it no matter what it takes!

Ignore all resistance, look straight up, a clear path can be seen.. Nothing is gonna get in my way.

Work hard, study hard, play at times but not too much.

I'm in L6Sc1 now, the challenge is up really strong. Pressure's on me to stay on that class' pressure. It can't be seen, it's not obvious but it's there, I know it.

Everyone's like normal, but in reality, we are all battling among each other.

Stay focus and no more distractionsss.. I got distracted past few days, now I gotta stay on foot, focus and do what I have and supposed to do.

haha, okay. This may not sound like me but yeah, I'm still gonna say it.

I'm gonna study really really hard now. I'm planning to study in Japan after my Form 6.
So in order to make that happen, I gotta put in 101% commitment on my studies in Form 6.

My mum got no objections for me to study in Japan. So yeah, I gotta work my feet off to achieve it.

Work hard to get something you want, set your goals and go for it!

My 18th birthday!

heyya! Yeah, my birthday this year is a bit different.
I had my birthday in NS Camp, yeap, my 18th birthday! ahaha.
But anyhow, it was okay. A friend gave me a present at camp, though it's just a random gift but the most important is sincerity. And also, some sang a birthday song accompanied by guitar as background. :).

Heyya everybody. I'm leaving tomorrrow! In less than 9 hours. half of me want to go and the other not! :(. I'm gonna miss soo many things tonnes!

Anyway, apart from that, I was involve in Vacation Bible School (VBS) at CMC for 3 days. At first I thought I'll be there for only Monday which is the first day, but in the end, I went for all 3 days. :).
I did have fun, although I was on duty with the camera.

Made some new friends with the Youths there! :). Thanks to you guys, I had a great time there!

I gotta thank non other than Alicia for sort of inviting me there. :). Thank you Ally!

suddenly feeling emotional this evening. After came back from swimming. Yeah, I went to the pool to chill awhile.

Bahhh, I don't like this. During dinner, brought back some good dishes from Malacca, but didn't really have the appetite to eat. :(.

Went skating on Saturday with Ivan, Chee Kian and Sara. All of them fell and I didn't. They all tried to pull me down to the ice but I manage to escape. :P.

Both of our "datuks" lost in their tournament finals, Nicol David and Lee CW. But I still think they did a great job. Especially Nicol David, she won all 10 tournaments in 2008, which is amazing.

I feel like blogging out something but I have no idea what to blog. :(.

It's a very random idea, but I shall blog bout a Japanese dish called Okonomiyaki!

Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a Japanese dish consisting of a pan-fried batter cake and various ingredients. Okonomi means "what you like" or "what you want", and yaki means "grilled" or "cooked" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba); thus, the name of this dish means "what you like, cooked". In Japan, okonomiyaki is mainly associated with Kansai or Hiroshima areas, but is widely available throughout the country. Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region.

I had Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima. Different place have different type of Okonomiyaki.

In Hiroshima, the ingredients are layered rather than mixed together. The layers are typically batter, cabbage, pork, optional items (squid, octopus, cheese, etc.), noodles (yakisoba, udon) topped with a fried egg and a generous dollop of okonomiyaki sauce. The amount of cabbage used is usually 3 - 4 times the amount of Osaka style. It starts out piled very high and is generally pushed down as the cabbage cooks. The order of the layers may vary slightly depending on the chef's style and preference, and ingredients will vary depending on the preference of the customer. People from Hiroshima tend to claim that this is the correct way to make okonomiyaki. This style is also called Hiroshima-yaki or Hiroshima-okonomi.

Q&A:

1. What do I feel about JENESYS?

I feel that this is once in a lifetime experience for me. I had a great time during my whole two weeks programme. Through this program, I get to open my eyes to the outside world and became a more optimistic person. I also get to expand my networking not only got to make some friends in Japan but also throughout other 6 countries namely New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and India. I also gained some confidence in my interacting skills.

2. What effects I gained from this programme?

I begin to be more interested in Japan than before. I also started to learn Japanese language after I came back from Japan. I’ve been reading up on Japanese language. I also want to go back there again to meet up my friends and family again, so that I can spend more time with them again. During the JENESYS program, I only spent 6 days with them and that is too short.

3. How do I keep in contact with everyone?

That will be of course, through email. After I came back, I started adding everyone on Facebook and also created a group on Facebook for my friends in Bus P. The response was good as everyone joined the group and we do keep in contact from there too. I’ve also been chatting with most of my friends on MSN. Besides that, I do keep in touch with my friends and family in Japan via e-mail. I used some Japanese on my email to them and they correct me if I made any mistake. So, I do learn some Japanese from them too.

4. What can I do for AFS after I get back?

I already applied to be a volunteer and I would love to help out AFS anytime. I would also help to promote AFS to everyone that I know to create peace and understanding through intercultural understanding.

5. Any comments?

AFS Malaysia should be more selective on the participants besides only one interview. AFS Malaysia should also have a few days orientation to get participants to get prepared before departing to host country.

Besides that, as for me, I feel that AFS JENESYS 2008 was organized properly even though they had a huge number or participants, but everything was well planned and organized. There weren’t any time conflicts between the groups during study tour. AFS Japan student volunteer were friendly and helpful too.

I would also like to send my deepest appreciation to AFS and JENESYS for this wonderful, memorable experience in Japan. I would love to help out AFS in future. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

JENESYS post-orientation

had the post orientation today. Reached the place around 8.20am. Met up some old peeps.
lost track of time since then...

orientation was okay, we had discussion thingy among the groups.

then they had this part, where everyone closed our eyes and they talked softly (not whisper) and refresh our memory on our trip, from departing KLIA until we arrive back here... He summarized the whole thing to make it short, but it was quite detailed. Each sentence he spoke, it implanted images in my head and so do others....

after that, everyone started leaving back home... then me and other 2 friends went to Mid Valley.. We practically just walked around.. haha.

kay, short update.. I'm lazyy. :(.

p.s I have to write a report on this trip within this 10 days... deadline 25th! bahhh, how to start? Can I just start from the host community period? :D.

2月4日（水）、17：45～中学校中庭で「『PEACE GAZA /キャンドル・メッセージ』 from EISHIN平和の集い」を開催しました。約200名の生徒と教職員の前に、「PEACE GAZA」の文字が、キャンドル512個で灯されました。報道によれば今回のガザ攻撃で、死者は1,330人、負傷者は5,450人だそうです。現在も約6,000人もの人々が家を失い避難生活を送っています。
世界では今も、ガザだけではなく、戦争や紛争、貧困などによって命を奪われたり、傷つき悲しんでいる人々がたくさんいます。紛争などの原因は様々で、対立する双方に言い分はあるでしょう。しかし、武力による問題解決の選択は間違っているのではないでしょうか。私たちは中高生として常に世界に目を向け、関心をもちながら、非人道的な手段には反対の意思を表明したいと思います。今回の攻撃は、被爆地ヒロシマに生きる中高生として決して人ごとではありません。私たちは、亡くなった方々への追悼と傷ついた方々への平和メッセージの意も込めて、この“集い”を開催しました。
“集い”は、1分間の黙祷で始まりました。続いて、中高生14名による「私たちの思い/平和メッセージ」をリレーで読み上げ、その後、参加者を代表して3 名が発言。中学2年生のTさんは、「殺し合いをするのも人間。でも、人の幸せのために平和を作っていくのも人間。自分にできることをしたい」と語っていました。最後は、一刻も早くGAZAに笑顔が戻るように願って、“しおり”さんの「Smile」を手話で歌いました。

Rahh, sorry for the slow updates I'm not really into blogging though, I have no idea what to blog about. :(.

Looking forward for this Saturday, I'm going back to school, there's a celebration.
105th Anniversary of St. John's Institution.

It's been almost a month since I left Japan but it feels like just yesterday I packed my stuffs in the hotel at Narita. I still miss everyone as much. To me, the best time during the whole program was from homestay onwards! The first few days were a bit (1%) disappointing, not the tour but something else and I'm not gonna mention here. Just a tiny bit of disappointment.

During the homestay, I met more people and made some friends over there.
Yes, I admit I was abit worried that I might not be able to communicate well with my host parents and all. But it turned out everything is fine. Although my host mum doesn't really speak English, but she tried to.

Going to school was great! It was quite sad that we couldn't attend their classes as they were having test. So we ended up going for tour and all. But yeah, I did get the chance to meet some students and be friends with, and they're friendly! During the arrival orientation on the first day, they told us to break the ice first, so I did and I'm happy bout it.

The bond with my friends over there grew stronger as we had outing together over the weekend. Saturday we went for bowling organized by the English club, and Sunday we went for a tour around the city with the host families.

On the last day of the homestay period, 15th Dec (Monday), everything felt different. When I stepped in the library, it was quiet and everyone was rather down. It was a feeling that no words can describe, trust me, you don't want to experience that! Soon later, some of the host sisters tears start to fall. I went over to my friend and tried to calm her down but it I failed. Later on, she asked for a picture together, so I passed my camera to someone to take for us. She leaned on my shoulder and I placed my hand on her left shoulder. That was the photo that I love most. Soon later, they have to leave due to class is going on and they are getting the results back. I know they do not want leave but stay behind and spend the very last moment together with us but they had no choice. I was sad knowing that they are leaving but I stayed strong not to break down.

Later on, we moved from the library to the computer lab as Mr. McCartney asked us to write a thank-you letter to our host family and also to the school. When I found out that my friends (host siblings to some of them) that they'll be coming to the computer lab during period break, I was glad at that moment! When they first step in the computer lab, I was happy to see them again! And then, she came running fast, excitedly towards the computer lab and shouting. You can see a smile on her face showing her happiness. As she step in the computer lab, she fell on the ground. I know it was pain, but she laughed and smiled. She then brought her pencil case, it was a transparent, plain pencil case and gave it to me, asking me to write a message for her. So I did. After that when it was time for them to leave again, most of us broke down again, and yes, this time was the worst cause it could be the last time meeting each other (as an AFS exchange) as we're leaving. She broke down really badly. I went over to her and gave her a hug while trying to calm her down.
Right before they leave, we manage to have a group photo together in the computer lab. Then they left reluctantly. Another sad moment.

We realized someone left a blazer in the computer lab and Mr. McCartney told us that it belongs to her, he gave an idea to leave a note in her pocket to give her a surprise. So yeah, Emily (her host sister) wrote a note and put in her pocket, so did I.
After we're done with our speech, shut down the computer and we head back to the library to get our stuffs down to the school entrance. Taxis were waiting at the entrance for us. The school principal came down and gave a short speech. So did Mr McCartney and Mrs Arata. After putting our luggage into the taxi, we saw them running towards us. We were happy to see each other again! We manage to take some photos and a group photos in front of the school. Then she came to me and we took another photo together. I felt really sad this time that we are going to leave. I couldn't believe myself that 6 days just past like that! And it's time to say good-bye til we meet again as we have to catch the train to Tokyo, so we can't be late... Right before I get on the taxi, I told her and others, that we will keep in touch and meet up again, and this time I get in the taxi reluctantly. :(. As the taxi turn around and move towards the exit, everyone of them ran to the exit and waved.. I really don't want to leave them so soon! I wish I could stay behind and spend more time with them, but there's no way..

*she gave me a Patrick clip that was clipped in her bag, I held it everywhere I went in Japan, either holding it or clip it on my nametag.
** I'm really glad and happy that we're still in contact, we've been emailing each other everyday since the day I got back home. Our friendship grew stronger and bigger each day....
*** She sent me a Christmas card which is really thoughtful and nice of her.
**** I will never forget such person like her. I'm so glad getting to know her!

Upon arriving the Fukuyama train station, we met our host parents there... We were waiting outside and had a talked with our host parents until Yasushi came and brought us in. My host mum's eyes were red, I thank her soo much and hugged her before I leave. My host dad was no where in sight. My host mum said that he's inside waiting. When we were all waiting at the platform for the train, he came up slowly at the escalator. I was glad to see him again. We had a little chat and the train came... As the train moved, that marked the end of my homestay period! :(.

Soon later, my fellow bus P mates hopped in the train at certain station. We are glad to meet up again. And it felt like the unity of the bus became stronger. It wasn't like this before we left for homestay. Everyone of us seems like we know each other for years. As we arrived in the hotel at Tokyo, all 660 participants and 66 educators are staying under one roof. I was quite excited and anxious to meet my Malaysians friends again, but there's a lil bit of disappointment there, just a bit, 1%. The next day, we were still traveling in Bus P group around Tokyo. And later we came to know that we'll be separated from Bus P and back to our own country group at the end of the day! Everyone of us tried to spend as much time together as possible in the bus on the way to 2 separate hotels. (Malaysia, Indonesia, India) and (Australia, Philipines, NZ, Thailand). When we're almost reaching the 1st hotel, Tom came up with a chant! All of us were at the top of our voice following Tom. It felt really good!! When we got down the bus, we did it again, yes, in public.. half on the bus. and the others were outside..

The next day, we had AFS JENESYS Festival and wrap up orientation. Orientation was great cause it was with our fellow Bus P mates again. We were so glad to meet up again! We all took photos with each other the whole time and write messages/exchange emails on a book, jacket as well. When it's time to leave, and it was the moment where we'll see each other again as a group, everyone started hugging each other. It was a moment where you really really don't feel like going.... Jesse and James kept carrying me up and move everywhere.. It felt fun as they carry me up..... Then, it was the time where we're back to our own country group.... :(.

When we got back in our own country, some of the Bus P mates immediately created Facebook account to stay in touch. I then created a group called "Bus P for Patrick" and everyone start joining in! So yeap, it was great that we're still in contact!

Okay, I'm feeling kinda..... mixed feelings... I don't know how to describe it. And it's 3.37am right now! I wrote this post for almost an hour! Never thought it'll be that long.

I miss her, Eishin school mates, host parents, Bus P mates and others alot, until today!!
I'm still thinking bout it every night...

It's not the end but the beginning of life! We'll definitely have the chance to meet up again.. Most of all, keep in touch and stay in contact. That's the first thing we MUST do.

Day 2 (10th Dec)

Coincidently this is my 100th post! I know that's little, I'm just too lazy

Went to school at 8.20am. My host mum dropped me off at the bottom of the hill, so I gotta walk up. It was okay cause the weather was cold. =)

Went straight to the library to meet up with others.
We're having a welcome ceremony in the school hall later after the students finish their test which is around 11am I think. But it's still early cause it's only 8.30am at that time.

So Mrs Arata decided to bring us out on a tour to an education center. It's about Anne Frank.

After that we all head back to school for the ceremony.

I got my first bento (lunch box) from my host mum. I have no idea what time she woke up to prepare.

Really really had a good day today. Broke my outing record. My longest record was whole afternoon. Today was the first time I went out whole day! hahaha.

And ice skate was really fun! Good thing there isn't THAT much crowd today. =).

Decided to clear up my books and papers today since I'm free. Yes, I know exams aren't over yet but I don't know what to study for EST. So yeah. =)

Started at 2.52pm [I remembered cause it was the time when I took the first photo]

Fifth form, class of 2008

I'll miss the good old days especially the time after trials. It was nice hanging out with a bunch of friends OUTSIDE the class. Cause there's nothing to do in class, so we hung up everywhere in the school. And we even left school early too.

Now, it's all OVER. Bahhh.. I can't believe that it's all over now! I repeat, OVER!!!

I won't miss school cause probably I'll be going back next year for sixth form / A levels. So yeap. But some friends will be going to collage and all. So not all will be back to school.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for the photos! took photos from different camera, so dont know where to start yet.

Yesterday's Deepavali was great!

Great food, great people, great fun, etc

one word sums it all, awesome! =D.

5 hours at her place. That was the best I tell you! My parents came later and they left earlier. I helped them out! haha. When ppl came to their house, I said I'm the "student exchange for the day". haha.
Had tonnes of fun with them, talked alot, played a game from France, and talked. There's 5+2 kids, Mizan (I think), Melissa, Danish, Tishia, Temishia, Nivashia and I. It's was a whole lot of fun with these ppl. haha.
Oh, and the food is really good too. =D. Haha.

Sorry for no updates on my blog at all, I don't think I'll be updating from now on til the final battle's up. I know less and less ppl is coming to this blog each day. I can't help it. I don't have much time left to update my blog. I'll try my very best to update often after the final exam is over! I promise.

Anyways, I got the confirmation letter for a placing in the JENESYS program that I applied for. So yeah, I'll be leaving to Japan for 2 weeks, flying off on the 3rd and be back on 18th Dec. My last day of exams is on 27th November. Which means I got about 5 days to "partyy!" with my friends after the exams. Yeah, I'm looking for that definitely. *Ice skating, Izzaz!!*

I'm gonna miss lotsa outing with my friends while I'm in Japan. =(. And I'm soo gonna go out with my friends after I come back! I got lotsa time to spare! I'm free as a bird!

That's after exams. Right now, I gotta battle up with the exams first and partyy after that! =D. I can't wait for it to be over soon and also dont want it to start so soon! I aint really prepared YET!! Ahh!! I'm getting worried each day. But oh well, I'll try my very best to overcome it.

I miss my daughter. Her photo is currently on my phone desktop. =D. And each time I look at it, I smiled in my heart. Even after I reply a msg that I made me kinda down, but when the msg is sent, her photo appear and it brightens me up a lil. So it does help! The wonders of her! =D. *this is so random*

Nightmares.

I have no idea why I'm having nightmares recently. It's like whenever I close my eye and fall asleep, it will come. Even short naps. I remember I slept for awhile during Physics paper, and I had a dream that I got into an accident. Well, that's not the only thing. I had weird dreams recently. I can't remember what but it's scary. I mean not those fantasy typeof dream, but it's realistic

Last night, I woke up by a shock and jumped off the bed at 4am!! It was the night before I have Physics and Chemistry paper the next day. After I woke up, I manage to sleep back. And I'm supposed to wake up at 5am usually ended up sleeping til almost 6am. I have to leave home by 6.15 or 6.20 or else I'll take over an hour to reach due to the jam. So yeah, I got to rush. And I felt so sleepy and tired that time, cause I did not have a good sleep. =(

Well, 4 friends of mine said that it's due to stress I'm having cause it's exam time now. But the thing is, I don't feel the stress! So I don't know.

Let's see what wikipedia gotta say about "Nightmare"
- dream which causes a strong unpleasant emotional response from the sleeper, typically fear or horror, being in situations of extreme danger, or the sensations of pain, falling, drowning or death.
- Sleepers may waken in a state of distress and be unable to get back to sleep for some time. (it happens to me at times)
- Eating before bed, which triggers an increase in the body's metabolism and brain activity, is another potential stimulus for nightmares (Ee Hwa! Read this part! =D)
- Such dreams can be related to physical causes such as .......(shorten it)....... stress in sleeper's life. (You all were right though! )

It's 1.14am now! I was asleep on the couch earlier. Was waiting for my dad to be back for supper and I fell asleep. When my dad got back, my mum dragged me up and force me to go cause I didn't have dinner. So no choice, gotta follow. Am still full now, can't sleep yet. So here I am.

12th to 25th September is the first "war" I'm going to face as well as other 5th form students in my school. I'm not really fully prepared for it but will try my very best.
6th form is trials is on 15th til 26th

So therefore, I might not going to online within this period and this blog will not have any updates til the war is over.

My car went up to Singapore in that ugly condition. No choice cause my parents need to use. The accident happened on Thursday, went to Singapore on Saturday til Monday, and it went into the workshop on Wednesday. Not sure when will I get back the car though. =(. Total cost for repair is........ RM550! That's alot!

Went out for lunch today with CK and Sara today. Alice couldn't join us cause she got meeting. =(

All thanks to the "smart" driver parked beside me, my car driver's side door is dented now! =(

It's really wierd the way he parked, either that or he just have some problems. I mean when you parked and if you hit something, you will reverse out and the damage won't be that bad right? Well, this smart guy here, he just dont bother and go in like that. You can see the scratch mark on my car's door. It's one straight scratch. Which means he just ignore that hit and continue going in.

Well, I found out who's that guy and talked. He agreed to pay for the repair. So yeah, it's settled.
On the other hand, I will not have car for at least one week. =(.

I'm suddenly into this song. I have no idea why. I watched Raise Your Voice recently and after that, when I turned on the tv, I'll watch the recording of that show and played the last part where Terri (Hilary) performed. According to that show, that song is written and dedicated to her brother.

Alright, for those whom haven't watch yet, that is a good movie. =). It's quite an old movie, so you might get to watch it on tv again. =)

Anyways, Malaysia Men Singles, Lee Chong Wei got Silver in Beijing Olympics 2008. Though he was not himself that played in the Finals and lost to Lin Dan, but at least he made into the Finals and brought back a Silver to the country. Congrats to him.
I watched him played lots of times and the guy played in the Finals definitely not him. I'm pretty sure he undergone a lot of pressure. One of the factors are caused by the audience. They were seriously noisy. Yes, I know they want to show their support. But during the finals, they were too over. The Umpire should ask them to quiet down as they caused distraction to the players. In Tennis and Squash tournament, the umpire / judge will ask the audience to settle down. I think they should do that in badminton as well.

Just a very random updates. I don't know what to blog about. =(. Anyone want to be an author for this blog? hahaha. Let me know. =).

Fendoka outing

Yesterday, 9th August 2008, the Fendoka had another outing again, this time is to Pavilion. We manage to catch the movie Dark Knight at 3.30pm.

Those present were, Zul, Weng Seng, Sara, Alice and I. Unfortunately, Izzaz couldn't attend cause he got French class, whereas Danson want to save money.

And we got a new member, Alice! She's in Taekwondo. And it does suit the name, FenDOka (TaekwonDO). That proves we are all fated to be in the same group. hahaha. =D

So anyways, that morning was our school's koko day. It was ok, I guess. Towards the end, we were a bit, crazy, Johannian, what can you expect? hahaha. The koko day ended around 12+pm.

It was a great day! =).

Newly formed group, Fendoka! =D

On Saturday, 2/8/08, we formed a group named Fendoka! It's actually the combination of FEN-DOKA [Fencing + Kendo]-ka. =D.
And, our new "signature move" is HIGH-2! Hahaha. I don't know how this "high 2" thing started but it just seems to be what we're doing. haha.

Yeah, I know it sounds super random! =).
